Modalities

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a mindfulness-based therapy that helps individuals accept difficult thoughts and feelings, commit to personal values, and take meaningful action. Instead of trying to eliminate distress, ACT teaches you how to relate to it differently—so you can live a fuller, more intentional life.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy designed to help people heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain process and integrate painful memories, reducing their emotional impact. Many clients find relief faster than with traditional talk therapy, allowing them to move forward with greater resilience and peace.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT is a structured, skills-based therapy that helps individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build a life worth living. Combining mindfulness with practical tools for distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBCT)

Mindfulness Therapy helps individuals become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations in the present moment—without judgment. By cultivating this awareness, clients can respond to stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges with greater clarity and calm, leading to improved emotional well-being and a deeper sense of balance.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

Trauma-Informed Therapy is an approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment in the healing process. It emphasizes compassion, choice, and collaboration—creating a supportive environment that avoids re-traumatization and honors each person’s unique experience.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic Therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body to help release trauma and emotional distress stored physically. By tuning into bodily sensations, movement, and breath, clients can process unresolved experiences, increase self-awareness, and restore a sense of safety and regulation in the nervous system.
